Assessing the Functional Heterogenenity of Monocytes in human septic shock

BIOASTER in collaboration with Cochin Hospital and the REALISM project consortium (study of the pathophysiology of intensive care patients and on biomarkers), has just published the article entitled “Assessing the Functional Heterogeneity of Monocytes in Human Septic Shock: a Proof- of-Concept Microfluidic Assay of TNFα Secretion ” in Frontiers in Immunology.

This article presents the results of the single-cell-scale functional analysis by droplet microfluidics of septic shock patients. This technology was developed by BIOASTER in the framework of the project.

This analytical technology has also been published in Nature Protocols and filed for a patent application.
