BIOASTER is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the newest GridION, a sequencer of third generation entirely developed by Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
This installation is the logical consequence of a MinION and the MinION Mk1C already in function in the laboratory.
This system allows a five-fold throughput increase in long-read sequencing for our genomics, metagenomics and metatranscriptomics projects.
ONT sequencing is adapted for a broad range of applications in complex samples or by single cell analysis with noticeable differences from other sequencing methods such as portability and real time analysis of sequenced reads.
This gives us the opportunity to offer our partners and clients rapid sequencing methods that also comply with on-field constraints.
